Life Interrupted

Willamette University / 2016 / Identity: Print + Web

The Life Interrupted campaign was for a series of seminars on displaced communities, as well as a charity run. The design language for this campaign is bold and assertive, evoking the Stars and Stripes in both form and color. A small tidbit: the photo of Martin Luther King Jr. in the background is actually a mugshot. It taken during his booking in Birmingham, Alabama in 1963, where he subsequently wrote his famous “Letter from Birmingham Jail”.
